I have an interest in form, light and seeing a story within that. Working with mainly thin layers of oil I am looking for light and movement in a solid stationary form, often taking the colour off by various methods to find light underneath and what ever else might turn up to surprise me. I work on canvas as I enjoy the flexibility under the brush.

My last body of work was surreal story telling using church structure and form to challenge the concept of how woman’s spirituality should be portrayed .

My current work is looking at the form in the trees in relations to the human body and the human experience. This is influenced by my study of life drawing and my way of looking at our natural world.
